Are you actually architects?
Yes — we are ARB registered. In the UK, “architect” is a protected title and only those on the Architects Registration Board register may use it. Plenty of firms offering drawings are not registered, so it is a fair question to ask anyone you are considering.
Will my planning application be approved?
No one can guarantee an outcome, but over 98% of our planning applications are approved. That comes from doing the feasibility work honestly at the start rather than submitting something and hoping.
Do you only do house extensions?
No. We work with private clients on self builds, garden infill and extensions; with developers on residential, retail, office and mixed-use schemes, care homes, educational facilities and master planning; and with contractors and local authorities across all RIBA stages.
Can you help with a listed building?
Yes. We handle planning and listed building consent, including modifications to listed properties where the constraints are considerably tighter.
Do you stay involved once building starts?
We do. We attend site during the project on a watching brief, to ensure compliance with the specification and to manage change. We are with you every step of the project.
