Family-owned, and on the register

MB Architecture is an award-winning, family-owned architectural practice specialising in residential and commercial property.

Founded in 2012, MB Architecture is a professional team with over 60 years’ property experience in the residential and commercial property sectors.

We work with private clients, developers, contractors and local authorities.

For contractors and local authorities we work across all RIBA stages on both traditional and Design and Build projects.

And we are a fully accredited and insured business. We would be very pleased to receive your enquiry and look forward to working with you.

Why this practice

Over 98% of our planning applications are approved

ARB registered

We are on the Architects Registration Board register. In the UK only registrants may call themselves an architect, and it is worth checking before you appoint anyone.

98% approval rate

Over 98% of our planning applications are approved. Getting the application right first time is the difference between building this year and building next year.

60+ years of experience

A professional team with over 60 years’ combined property experience across the residential and commercial sectors.

Family owned

An award-winning, family-owned practice — which is why clients keep naming the same people in their reviews.

Every RIBA stage

Feasibility through to construction. We are with you every step of the project, not just up to the point permission lands.

Multi-award winning

Recognised work across residential and commercial property, from single extensions to care homes and mixed-use schemes.

How it runs

The order it happens in

  1. Feasibility and concept

We look at what is possible on your site and sketch the options before anything is committed — including the ones you had not considered.

  2. Design and planning

We work the chosen option up into architectural drawings and submit the planning application, handling the authority throughout.

  3. Building regulations

CAD drawings, structural design and calculations, and the Building Regulation submission and approvals.

  4. Tender and procurement

Construction drawings, schedules, specifications and contracts, then a tender shortlist agreed with you and tender packs issued.

  5. On site

We attend on a watching brief to ensure compliance with the specification and to manage change, right through to completion.
